Selected to the Australian Hockey team in 1964, winning a Bronze Medal.

Won Silver Medals at the 1969 and 1972 Olympics.

Named the NSW Catholic Sportsman of the Year in 1966.

Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia in 1981 for services to the sport.
