Four-time ITU World Cup Champion, International Grand Prix Champion, five-time Australia Triathlon Champion and three-time silver medalist at the ITU World Championships.

Won a Silver Medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia in 2001.

Inducted into the Queensland Sport Hall of Fame in 2009, Triathlon Australia Hall of Fame in 2012 and ITU Hall of Fame in 2016.
