James Tilbury

Graduated from Marist College Ashgrove in 2005, Dux of the College.

Received a Rhodes Scholarship, completing a MSc in Environmental Change and Management at Oxford.

Served in advisory and investment roles, leading investment into about 80 climate tech startups and advised many more.

Co-founded EnergyLab (focusing on decarbonisation) and advises Boomerang Labs (circular economy) and the Ocean Impact Organisation.

Established a network of 150 angel investors keen to back climate tech founders.

Currently works with Boston Consulting Group, advising companies and governments engaging in net-zero target setting, decarbonisation strategy, green growth market entry, climate-related financial disclosure, and climate scenario analysis.
