2013 Marist Schools Biennial Conference 28-31 July
Over 200 leaders and future leaders of Marist Schools gathering in Cairns in the last week of July for their biennial Conference. We were privileged to have the Superior General, Brother Emili, as our keynote presenter. He helped us to open up the theme "He Gave Us The Name Of Mary"- which was the title of the recent Circular of Brother Emili. Other chief presenters were Sister Michele Connolly rsj and Dr Paul Sharkey, as well as a number of others from among the Marist Community who led plenary sessions and workshops. The Conference Eucharist was celebrated by Bishop James Foley of Cairns, and the Conference Dinner hosted by St Augustine's College.
