Programme Outline
The conference will be a creative mix of input, liturgical experience, group work and symposium style discussions with ample time for personal reflection and interaction with other Marist leaders.
Basic themes to be explored include the Prologue of St John, the Marriage Feast of Cana, the Theology of Temple and being born again, as well as drawing us into a new creation in the household of God.
Pope Francis has challenged all of us in "the Joy of the Gospel" to be evangelisers in a Marial way. In our 21st century Marist communities, we need to take up the challenge of the Holy Father to recreate our world in new and exciting ways. From the foot of the cross to the world of the 21st century, Marists have drawn on a rich heritage of Johannine texts and images to bring life to the world of young people. This conference is designed to help us face the challenges ahead of us in the rest of this century.
